This is a great opportunity for the Indian cricket team to gain a huge psychological advantage before the start of the Champions trophy. The Indian batting has yet to fire. It might make sense to play five bowlers and perhaps bring in Mongia in place of the struggling Yuvraj and maybe Kaif in place of Raina. After a decent tour of WI, Kaif suddenly finds himself out of the playing 11! The other possible change might be to drop RP Singh and bring in Powar. Given that Bhajji has been able to get some assistance from the pitch this might not be a bad bet.

India decided to go in with 4 bowlers. The stratagy may be ok, but dropping Sreesanth makes no sense whatsoever!Btw, did you notice that Sreesanth actually did the “cross” sign after taking a wicket in the last ODI? Did he convert to Chritianity or something? š

I read in an interview sometime ago that Sreesanth follows all religious beliefs. He is a perfervid St Anthony devotee and buff! That could be the reason for any ‘cross’ing or genuflexion you might see…….. š

Someone said it was a sign that he was ready to do just about anything to please Chappell!!Unfortunately, he still got a raw deal. Dumped after a decent show in the last ODI. I suspect he was dropped because the management wanted at least one left arm seamer and both Munaf and Agarakar are well entrenched.
