I guess its only a matter of time before selling movies on Google becomes more mainstream. You don’t need all the middlemen to sell your movies. Make it and sell it through Google. The entire planet is your potential customer (provided they have Internet access and a broadband connection). Remember to give a few good interviews 🙂

Amazon was getting there by starting the whole “shorts” series last year. A lot of indie movie makers tried it out actually. Amazon even commissioned a few to make some for them. Very professionally done. That’s one more way to monetize their user/visitor base. Yahoo is the ideal place to do this, since it’s a general portal rather than just a search engine. Of course, a whole bunch seem to disagree with me on that (including Google shareholders!).
